For Department Course Administrators
Main content start
Stanford Introductory Studies (SIS) is the unit in VPUE that coordinates the Introductory Seminars offered by Stanford departments and schools. Instructors are invited to renew existing seminars or submit new seminars between January 1st and March 3rd. Submitted seminars will be part of the upcoming year's curriculum contingent on program, department, and decanal approvals.
Department course administrators handle course creation and record maintenance, scheduling, and priority room preferences for all IntroSems offered through their department in Coursedog while the IntroSems Program within SIS handles application outreach and priority enrollment in Axess.
